Welcome! New Hope Assistance Dogs Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located in Warren, Pennsylvania. We provide custom trained Assistance Dogs for mobility, hearing, autism & PTSD related issues and a multitude of other disabilities for both children and adults.
These 4-pawed friends will perform tasks and help empower you to gain a greater independence and freedom that would otherwise require reliance on a human caregiver. This helps to enhance the quality of life for the individual. Some of the tasks may include retrieving items such as from a fridge or dryer, picking up items that have been dropped, opening & closing of doors, fetching the phone or remote control or alerting another individual in the event of a emergency etc. Although the tasks performed are helping to achieve a higher self-esteem, the bond that is formed with the 4-pawed friend is far more superior to many relationships they have ever had. Many of our clients have suffered with autism, PTSD, depression, anxiety and loneliness. These emotions tend to subside when they feel the unconditional love of a 4-pawed Assistance or Companion Dog.
Both children & adults with Autism & Asperger's Syndrome have also benefited from the unconditional love that our 4-pawed helpers offer them. Our dogs are trained to recognize their outburst, in return helping to calm the recipient. The love of the dog helps build the recipients confidence so new tasks are a challenge not an obstacle.
We also perform demonstrations and attend events where we educate the public about what Assistance Dogs can do to help an individual.
We would like to welcome you to our site and hope that you will enjoy your time spend with us. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have at
